I've loved burning incense for many years and Nag Champa has always been a favourite and I was curious to see if these smokeless incense bricks would have the same scent...they do but better! I ordered 2 sets one for myself and one as a gift with the Frankincense bricks which also smell wonderful...even the free sample bricks are all so lovely. The scents are calming and create a lovely ambience. I will definitely be re ordering as I think this product is a much healthier alternative to all the toxic air freshener products and candles that are available to buy today. I’ve been using Aromafume’s brilliant incense bricks for over a year now. They are a brilliant alternative to incense sticks, which I can’t use due to my wife’s lung condition.
I’ve found the scents of the different 7 Charka bricks help me focus on my energy centres, while meditating. As I’ve been using the Tree Of Life burner for a while it has developed a lovely patina, that makes it very special to me.
I have been looking for a Frankincense essential oil that smells like the incense burned at a Catholic church. I've tried a Frankincense oil made by another company and it wasn't close. One of the reviews on Amazon under Aromafume's Frankincense pure essential oil product listing stated that it smelled exactly like the incense burned at a Catholic Mass. So I purchased it directly from Aromafume. However, later when I looked more closely at the review and opened the photos with the review, I saw that the pictures showed Aromafume's Frankencense AND MYRRH pure essential oil. The review was under the wrong product.
That said, I do like the Frankincense essential oil a lot. I use it in my waterless diffuser often. It has a very earthy smell and may be somewhat in the same realm of the scents of patchouli as well as palo santo, in my humble opinion but more pleasant than either.
AND I give an A+ to the company Aromafume. Their customer service is very helpful and will bend over backwards to make you a happy customer. And their website is very professionally done. And the prices are great!
I will buy their Frankincense and Myrrh essential oil soon, hoping that this scent will be the smell that I am seeking. I look forward to the day when somehow you will be able to virtually smell the actual scents before purchasing. :)
